Helen Vaughan

Helen qualified as a dentist from Bristol University in 1986 and has worked in the community and hospital service. After spells working in a variety of different countries, she became a general dental practitioner in South Wales. In 2000 Helen obtained her Masters Degree in Community Dental Practice from the University of London. For the last 12 years Helen has been the Director of Oral Health for the Indian Ocean Territories Health Service in Australia with responsibility for the governance of the Oral Health Service and providing clinical care as a sole practitioner to the communities of Christmas Island and the Cocos(Keeling)Islands. In 2013 Helen obtained her post graduate diploma in Forensic Dentistry from the University of Western Australia. Since 2014 she has provided Forensic Odontology services to the West Australian Health System. Helen will be returning to the UK in 2021.
