Debbie Jones

Debbie Jones originally trained as a physiotherapist at Guy's Hospital, working in several hospitals in England and Wales. In 1995 she and her family moved to Plymouth and she began to get involved with her husband’s dental practice, both as a nurse and practice manager, qualifying as a dental nurse in 2004. Subsequently she has gained qualifications in dental radiography and impression taking. She became an examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) in 2012. In 2013 Debbie set up a Dental Nurse apprenticeship at City College Plymouth, which she still runs. She has gained her Assessors qualification and is about to complete her teaching diploma. She also teaches the NEBDN course and is involved with the Bristol Deanery delivering post-registration qualifications.
