Christopher Parker

Christopher Parker trained and qualified as a Dental Technician with Nottingham Health Authority, then with Shropshire Health Authority as Senior Dental Technician. 

Appointed lecturer in Dental Technology and based in Birmingham, Chris taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level for 19 years.

In 2007 Chris joined Ivoclar Vivadent as professional services manager helping the Liechtenstein based company develop innovative dental materials and techniques through research and education.

Chris has lectured throughout Europe, Scandinavia and the Middle East and is past member of the International Association of Dental Researchers.

He advised the GDC Quality Assurance team during education inspections of universities and colleges in the UK and more recently worked as senior standards verifier for Pearson Education.

Chris currently works in Birmingham as an associate lecturer in Dental Technology is a Registration assessment panellist for the GDC and External Examiner for Open University at City of Liverpool College.
