Fiona Abbot

Fiona Abbott’s career has been in justice policy and communications. She has a Masters (LLM) in criminal law and criminal justice and has worked in policy with government, police, probation, courts and the third sector. She chaired the Youth Court Committee (England and Wales) and served as Trustee of the Magistrates’ Association. Fiona has sat as a Presiding Justice, Magistrates’ Courts, for over 20 years. Fiona works with other Regulatory bodies, sitting as a lay panellist on fitness to practise committees for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (chair) and the Health and Care Professions Council (panellist).
