Duncan Smith

Dunca graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2013 and completed vocational training in Dundee. He spent a number of years in general practice in Fife before buying a dental practice in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire with his wife, a dental therapist, in 2019. In 2017 Duncan became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Aside from running his dental practice, Duncan is a Vocational Trainer for NHS Education for Scotland, mentoring new graduates in their first year out of dental school and is a member of the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Local Dental Committee. Duncan has a keen interest in the importance of good communication skills and professionalism in dentistry.
