Victoria Hewson

Victoria qualified as a Dental Nurse at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield in 1995 and has a broad range of professional experience in both a general dental practice and the community dental service. Victoria went on to develop her academic career at the University of Hull in 2004 developing a wealth of academic experience in undergraduate and Degree Apprenticeship education. Victoria currently occupies a strategic position as Head of Apprenticeships (Quality)/Senior Lecturer and is a Senior Fellow of Advanced HE. Victoria also has significant experience in strategic leadership and management evidenced by her recent role as Head of Department (Nursing). Victoria continues to be a registered Dental Care Professional with research and scholarship outputs and interests in oral health, mouth care, promoting health and preventing ill health.
