Valerie Atkinson

Valerie Atkinson’s career was in broadcast journalism culminating in 10 years as Deputy Head of News and Current Affairs at BBC Scotland. Since retirement she has served on two tribunals, the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service and the Office for Judicial Complaints, and on several boards and committees including the Ethical Oversight Body on Genetic Screening of Generation Scotland and NHS Quality Improvement Scotland.
