Val Evans

Val Evans spent her professional career in inner city Local Authority Social Care Services from 1976 - 2011, working mainly with older people and adults with disabilities. She managed both assessment and provider services and, as a senior manager, held the strategic lead for the local multi-agency Adult Safeguarding Partnership. She worked closely with senior managers in local acute and community health services and represented social care services on the Primary Care Trust Professional Executive Committee.  Val has been a lay member on Fitness to Practise panels of other health care regulatory bodies since 2009.
