Andrew Waite

Andy Waite is a lay chair and joined the General Dental Council discrete Interim Orders Committee panel in 2018. He has also been a Fitness to Practice tribunal member for the General Medical Council since 2014. Andy retired from Hampshire Police as a Detective Chief Inspector in 2013 and is a retired member of the Police Federation. Andy utilises some of the skills he gained in his police service, as company director of Oleron Limited, providing adult and child safeguarding consultancy and training, as well as advice and training in the misuse of drugs. Andy is also a director of Bull by the Horns Limited, a public relations and media company. Andy is heavily engaged in sports coaching and administration and is currently director of rugby and a youth coach at Andover Rugby Football Club. He is also engaged on projects with Hampshire and the English RFU on player recruitment and retention, and youth development.
