Peter Ommer
Peter Ommer qualified as a dentist from the University of Glasgow in 1989. He has since become a Member of the Joint Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007, gained a Master of Business Administration in 2010, a Master of Public Health in 2016, and became a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2017. He started his dental career as an Associate, and then in 1997, progressed to becoming a Principal with two practices. In August 2005, he started working within the Public Dental Service, and in May 2009, was appointed as the Clinical Dental Director for the NHS Ayrshire and Arran Public Dental Service. In 2016 his role expanded to become the overall Clinical Director of Primary Care Dental Services for NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
