Orlinda Mpofu
Orlinda Mpofu qualified as a dental nurse in 2002 through Whitecross Dental Care training program. Whilst involved in the delivery of training to dental nurses teaching on the National Diploma from 2006 to 2013, she gained her first teaching qualification, FAETC, in 2007 from Stanmore College and the second, DTLLS, from London Metropolitan University in 2009. She has worked as a dental nurse in NHS and private practices in London and the Home Counties namely Kent and Surrey. Orlinda has a knack for organisation and multitasking and has been Clinical Governance Lead ensuring CQC compliance in her dental nursing role. Whilst studying for an LLB (Hons) in Law at the University of Kent from 2010 to 2013, Orlinda was involved in supervised casework which included in assisting and attending Fitness to Practice hearings at the Health and Care Professions Council, and representing clients at Employment Tribunals and County Courts through written and oral advocacy. She is currently on the part time Bar Professional Training Course at City Law School and hopes to be called to the Bar in 2016 Grays Inn Society in 2016. Orlinda volunteers for her local Citizen Advice Bureau.
