Marnie Hayward

Marnie Hayward qualified as a dental nurse in 1995 and then as a dental hygienist and dental therapist in 1998. She is currently registered as a registered dental hygienist and holds a role with the Care Quality Commission as a bank inspector and dental specialist advisor mostly in London and the South East. Marnie is an examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) National Diploma and Certificate in Oral Health Education. Marnie’s previous roles include Dental Hygiene and Therapy tutor at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and DCP tutor at Health Education Kent, Surrey and Sussex where she developed and delivered a wide range of education and training for the whole dental team. She was awarded the FGDP Certificate in Appraisal of Dental Practices from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2013. Marnie has a keen interest in mental health issues and has previously been a governor at  St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
